SOLID MODEL CORRECTING METHOD AND SOLID MODEL GENERATING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To provide a solid model generating device which can shorten as much as possible the holding time due to the operation of a solid modeler and can secure the high designing efficiency of the solid model. CONSTITUTION:In order to correct each of plural types of solid models, the shape data stored in a shape data file storage means 30 are successively changed by a changing means 32. Then a defined data updating means 34 updates the section shape and its attribute which are defined for production of the solid models for each component parts based on the correspondence set previously and on the changed shape data stored in a shape data file. Then a solid model correcting means 36 actuates a solid modeler 38 based on the section shape and its attribute which are updated by the means 34. Thus plural types of corrected solid models are successively generated. As a result, the solid models of plural component parts are automatically and successively generated with no man power needed after the section shapes of component parts are collectively corrected. Then the time when a designer is restricted for the terminal of a machine can be reduced down to a half or less.
