<p>It is often necessary or desirable to cover a load which has been placed in a container which is open-topped and has two end walls and two side walls. Previous methods of covering such a load, usually by a person working alone with a tarpaulin are time-consuming and possibly dangerous. We provide such a container (1) with a motor-driven roll (16) of sheet material (9), the leading edge of said sheet material (9) being moved from one end of the container (1) to the other, and during said travel being raised from a first level above the ground to a higher level above the ground. <IMAGE></p> |
