PURPOSE:To prevent the lowering of processing speed by reducing the number of times of the raster development of a form in a printer control device performing the raster development of a form (development of 0, 1 data on a pixel) on a page memory and subsequently performing the raster development of the input data written in the form on the same page memory. CONSTITUTION:The capacity of a page memory 14 is set to the capacity corresponding to at least two pages. When the form used in the page concerned is the same as the form used in a next page and there is an empty region in the page memory 14, if the raster development data 20 of the form of the page concerned is copied on the empty region (the form 21 for the next page), it becomes unnecessary to subject the form to raster development in the next page. Since the time for copying the raster development data is shorter than a time newly performing raster development, the lowering of processing speed can be prevented. |
