ELECTRICALLY CONNECTING COMPONENT AND LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE USING THE COMPONENT

PURPOSE:To provide an electrically connecting component in which a soldering connection state is easily judged and the mechanical strength of a lead of a terminal is increased by forming a narrow part in part of the terminal to be connected by soldering. CONSTITUTION:A narrow part LNP is formed in part of an input terminal TTB of a tape carrier package TCP. The difference between the width L7 of a soldering land SLD of a driving circuit board PCB1 on which a solder fillet SF is formed and the width L1 of the narrow part LNP of the input terminal TTB can be widened. The solder fillet SF is easily formed, the connecting state of the input terminal TTB to the soldering land SLD of an output terminal of the circuit board PCB1 is easily judged. By narrowing a part of the lead of the input terminal TTB, mechanical strength of the lead can be increased. The width in the narrow part NLP of the input terminal TTB is preferable to make about 1/2 that of the wider part.
