<p>PURPOSE: To remove the contaminant on an object, especially, the contaminant such as the residual component of ink, fibers or dust on the drum of a printing machine in a non-contact state by irradiating the surface to be cleaned of the object with laser beam. CONSTITUTION: Laser beams 24, 46 are emitted from an eximer laser 22 to irradiate the surface of an object through a first mirror 26, a laser beam compressor 28, a split or quadrant module 30, a second mirror 32, a fourth mirror 42 and an objective lens 44 to remove the contaminant on the surface thereof.</p> |
