Self-adhesive tape for connecting base rail or skirting board and wall

The tape is stored and held in an vacuum packed foil bag that encloses a roll of self-adhesive tape covered by a strip of foil. The coefficient of adhesion increases with time but full strength is not achieved in less time than what is required to apply the tape. The tape is pulled from the bag through a slit which provides an air-tight seal for the remaining self-adhesive tape, substantially maintaining the vacuum in the chamber. A rip-thread is incorporated along the length of the adhesive layer.
