PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compsn. for a rubber roll which has low hardness and excellent permanent set and low-temp. properties. SOLUTION: This rubber roll compsn. comprises the below-mentioned copolymer (A) and/or (B) and a vulcanizing/crosslinking agent. Copolymer (A) is an ethylene/6-12Cα-olefin/non-conjugative polyene random copolymer having an ethylene toα-olefin mol. ratio of (80:20) to (55:45), an iodine value of 0.5 to 40, a Mooney viscosity (ML1+4 at 100 deg.C) of 5 to 350, and a wt. average mol.wt./ no. average mol.wt. of 2 to 15. Copolymer (B) is an ethylene/propylene/6-12Cα-olefin/non-conjugative polyene random copolymer having an ethylene to propylene mol. ratio of (99:1) to (50:50), an ethylene to (propylene +α-olefin) mol. ratio of (80:20) to (55:45), an iodine value of 0.5 to 40, a Mooney viscosity of 5 to 350, and an Mw/Mn of 2 to 15.
