PURPOSE: A seawater exchange breakwater is provided to protect various vessels and harbor facilities by intercepting waves advanced from the open sea constantly. CONSTITUTION: A seawater exchange breakwater(WB) comprises a base plane(4), right and left walls(5)(5a) formed on a rubble base(3), an open sea side wall opened and provided with a cross beam(6), an inland sea side wall provided with an upper wall(7) formed downward from the upper part to the lower part of the breakwater(WB), a circular wall(9) formed in right and left walls(5)(5a), a floor plate(10) constructed to cover up tightly the lower end of the circular wall(9) and the lower end of the upper wall(7), and seawater discharge holes((11a) bored on the front of the circular wall(9) and the upper wall(7).
