The rotary number counter circuit of a motor includes a filter for receiving a 2-phase rotary signal from the motor, a count up/down discriminating circuit for discriminating a count up state or a count down state, a count up/down command circuit for supplying an execution command to a personal computer, thereby achieving a low-cost counter circuit.
