PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain the occurrence of variations in the fine shape of a writing brush and the size of minute spaces among brushes by making an application piece connection deformation part having a thinner wall thickness than that of an application piece among the application pieces of an application piece rear part, and also making an application row connection deformation part having a thinner wall thickness than that of a flange part among the application rows of an application piece rear end. SOLUTION: Application of force for compression from the outer circumference towards the center relative to a flange 21b causes an application connection deformation part 5a and application row connection deformation part 6a to be deformed, so that respective application pieces 5 and application rows 6 move to be in contact with each other. A rate of the movement can be controlled through the adjustment of compression force, thereby controlling the rate of minute spaces of respective application pieces 5 and application rows 6, and also, the application pieces 5 and application rows 6 have high dimensional accuracy, thereby lessening extremely variations in the rate of spaces. |
