PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a CD-R having an arbitrary profile shape without any interferences with the reproducing of recorded information. SOLUTION: An ATIP area 4 is formed in a donut shape on the surface 2 of a circular substrate 1 exccluding an outer peripheral part 4, a recording layer 5 and a reflective layer 6 are formed only on the ATIP area 4, a protecting layer 7 is formed to cover the reflective layer 6 and the exposed substrate surface 3, and thereby a CD-R 10 for shape cutting is provided. By cutting the outer peripheral part 4 of the CD-R 10 to have an arbitrary profile shape, a CD-R 20 for shape cutting is provided. |
