PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cryogenic purification method and device for producing ultra-high purity nitrogen and ultra-high purity oxygen with high nitrogen recovery rate and low power consumption. SOLUTION: In a method for producing ultra-high purity nitrogen and ultra- high purity oxygen with high nitrogen recovery rate by the cryogenic purification of feed air, a main column 6, an auxiliary column 12 and a stripping column 35 are used. The stripping column 35 is driven by the kettle fluid of the main column 6. Additional process fluid produced in the auxiliary column 12 is used in the main column 6.
