PURPOSE: A spun-bonded non-woven fabric for shielding electromagnetic wave, deposited with aluminum by vacuum deposition is provided which has low production cost and wide range of application from a small electrical goods to a skyscraper, and can be mass produced. CONSTITUTION: A metal deposited fiber material for shielding electromagnetic wave is produced by conveying a spun-bonded non-woven fabric(14) which has a high strength and good workability over aluminum vapor(13) generated from aluminum(12) by heating on a hot plate(11) of 1,300-1,500°C in a vacuum chamber having a pressure of 10¬-3 -10¬-5 torr, so that the surface of the filament of the non-woven fabric is deposited with the aluminum in the thickness of 100-1000 angstrom unit. The conveying velocity of the non-woven fabric is 50-200m/min, and the temperature of a cooling roll is set to be minus 20-minus 40°C.
