METHOD FOR TESTING PRINTED CHARACTER IN TAPE CASSETTE

PURPOSE: A method is provided to test a printed character in a tape cassette by comparing a predetermined standard character pattern with a thing obtained by measuring the size of a test object character and a white region on an X and Y coordinate. CONSTITUTION: A method for testing a printed character in a tape cassette comprises the steps of: taking a picture of a character to be tested(S11); converting the taken character images into a digital signal to sort the converted signals(S12); measuring the size of each of the taken characters to compare the measured character size with a standard size(S13); measuring the size of a white region in a predetermined character region(S15); comparing the measured white region with the size of a standard white region(S16); and judging the printing state of a printed character to the tape cassette according to the comparison data(S17).
