PURPOSE: An apparatus for preventing an edge of a transferring roller for a printer from being contaminated is provided to prevent a particulate matter from being accumulated by repeatedly sliding a transferring roller using a sliding unit at an interval of a determined time. CONSTITUTION: Brackets(53,63) are separated at determined intervals. Each bracket(53,63) is respectively installed in the end of an axis of rotation(29a) of a transferring roller(29). The brackets(53,63) enables the transferring roller(29) to be rotated. A hole into which the axis of rotation(29a) is penetrated is formed in each bracket(53,63). A heating lamp(43) is installed inside of the transferring roller(29). A coating layer(41) is formed in the outer circumference. A bearing member(55) is respectively equipped between the brackets(53,63) and the axis of rotation(29a). The bearing member(55) combines the brackets(53,63) with the transferring roller(29). A sliding unit includes a driving unit(70) and an elasticity member(80).
