PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To clearly see a division without glasses by installing a mechanical pencil on a scale (convex) and an expanded lens on an upper part and setting a pointer becoming an indication. SOLUTION: A division is placed on the backside of a tape 7 so that a distance (length) between a pawl 8 on the head of a tape 7 and a lead 6 of a mechanical pencil 3 mounted fits a pointer becoming an indication of an expanded lens. The indicating pointer is fitted a desired measurement when it is used. Then, a point can be easily and accurately obtained by the pencil 3 mounted or a pencil held with a clamp mounted.
