PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically select a telephone network to be connected based on an input operation when a user transmits by comparing a selected telephone number with a recognition code in every digit to decide the existence/absence of the addition of the recognition code and deciding a destination telephone network. SOLUTION: A telephone number table 128 with which plural pairs of telephone number and registered number are registered is provided. Here, a recognition code is added to plural telephone numbers based on a destination telephone network. And, a controlling means 125 refers to the table 128 in response to a number inputted by an external operation and decides the destination telephone network. In such a case, it refers to the table 128 with which plural pairs of telephone number and registered number are registered in response to an inputted registered number. And, a telephone number corresponding to the inputted registered number is read, the existence/absence of a recognition code is decided from the read telephone number, and the destination telephone network is decided based on the existence/absence of the decided recognition code. Transmission processing corresponding to the destination telephone network decided in this way is carried out.
