PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal device for portable telephone set which is excellent in portability and in the visibility of display information and which is capable of obtaining information from the Internet and capable of receiving and transmitting of an electronic main in a posture in which a user users a portable telephone set. SOLUTION: A display device 4 which is connected to a control part which is to be connected so as to be capable of transferring data to a portable telephone set 2 has a display 21 generating a picture corresponding to picture data sent from the control part and an optical system 24 changing optical paths of picture display light which is to be emitted from the display 21. The portable telephone set 2 can be used in a state in which it is held in a portable holder 5 holding the telephone set 21, the control part and the display device 4. The picture display light whose optical path is changed by the optical system 24 is introduced to eyes of a user at whose temple part the telephone set 2 being in the state in which it is held in the holder 5 is arranged. Then, a magnified virtual image is formed at a position more distant than the display 21 to the user.
