PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the head of a screw and the recessed part of a screw washer from a covering body of a fishing reel. SOLUTION: This covering body 16 is provided by installing a fixing part 20 for engaging with a fixing tool 21 such as a screw, etc., a covering part 19 for covering the fixing tool 21 on the fixing part 20 and an insertion hole 22 for a driver, etc., opposing to the fixing tool 21 on the fixing part 20. The fixing tool 21 engaged with the fixing part 20 is concealed by the covering part 19 so as not to be hardly seen from outside and not to be caught with a fishing line.
