Method and device for sterilization of materials by means of microwave radiation with a high field strength

A method of sterilizing articles by means of microwave radiation comprising increasing the electromagnetic field intensity to a level ensuring microorganisms destruction or sterilization through direct microwave energy absorption by these microorganisms from a high-frequency field. The device consists of a magnetron and a cavity resonator connected by a strong link which results in the magnetron automatically tunes to the resonant frequency of the system: magnetron-resonator-articles being sterilized.
