PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device permitting to secure a sufficiently high light transmittance in the multi-domain VAN mode, and also reduce wiring resistance. SOLUTION: In the liquid crystal display device wherein liquid crystal molecules contained in a liquid crystal material held between an array substrate 1 and a counter substrate 2, the counter substrate 2 is provided with low resistance wiring and a counter electrode 6 with slits. These slits have continuous slit parts 8 formed in parallel with wide line width wiring 3 on the array substrate side and discontinuous parts 9a formed in parallel with narrow line width wiring 4. The low resistance wiring 110 are formed via the discontinuous parts 9a of the slits and also continuously formed in the direction almost parallel to the continuous slit parts 8. |
