PURPOSE: A method for issuing credit card receipts using e-mail is provided to enter a member's e-mail address in addition to his member information inputted in a card company's host computer so that an affiliated store can edit transaction-completed information and transmits it to the member's e-mail address. CONSTITUTION: A card user, who wants to receive a card receipt receiving service using e-mail, makes a card receipt folder to receive and store only card receipts, requests the service to the card company, and transmits his e-mail address to the card company. The card company inputs the user's e-mail address to a host computer in addition to his member information and constructs a database to transmit e-mail receipts to the member. If transaction information is transmitted to the card company as the user executes card settlement at an affiliated store, the card company transmits the receipt of the transaction to the user's computer by e-mail.
