JOINT FOR BRANCHING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint for branching capable of securely connecting pipes and performing branched pipe construction simply and easily even when a metallic branched pipe is branched and taken out from a plastic original pipe to perform piping construction. SOLUTION: This joint for branching consists of a plastic joint main body 10 having a branched pipe part 13 and a metallic tubular adapter 20 sealed and connected to the branched pipe part 13 of the joint main body rotatably and having a connection end part with piping. A male screw 16 is provided on a cylindrical inner face 14 and an outer face in an end part of the branched pipe part 13, and a cap nut 27 sealed and mounted on the cylindrical inner face 14 of the branched pipe part by mounting a packing 25 on a tubular outer face of the adapter 20 and locked on the tubular outer face is screw-fitted in the male screw 16 to seal and connect the joint main body 10 and the metallic adapter 20 mutually.
