PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To implement a technique for efficiently heating a reformer using a burner of a Bunsen's combustion method with a high primary air ratio or a totally aerated primary combustion method and for heating the reformer by safely burning a refined gas or an off-gas before the gas components stabilize. SOLUTION: The device is a heating device for a reformer 42 which reforms a hydrocarbon gas into a hydrogen gas-containing reformed gas and supplies it to a fuel cell 36. This heating device is equipped with a reformer burner 46, a pilot burner 54, a second pipeline 23b for supplying the reformed gas to the pilot burner 54, a third pipeline 23c for supplying the reformed gas to the fuel cell 36, a fifth pipeline 23e for supplying the off-gas which had passed through the fuel cell 36 to the reformer burner 46 and switching valves SV4 and SV5 for opening either the second pipeline 23b or the third pipeline 23c and blocking the other. In this heating device, after the reformed gas components have stabilized, the switching valves SV4 and SV5 are switched to block the second pipeline 23b and to open the third pipeline 23c. |
