PURPOSE: A transmissive liquid crystal display device with a hologram diffuser is provided to prevent the damage of a hologram diffuser in the array procedure by attaching the hologram diffuser to a rear surface of the array substrate via a separate step and simplify the rework step of the hologram diffuser. CONSTITUTION: A transmissive liquid crystal display device with a hologram diffuser includes first and second transparent substrates(110,140), cholesteric liquid color filters(142) and common electrodes formed on the first substrate, an array element positioned below the second substrate and having thin film transistors and pixel electrodes connected to the thin film transistors, a hologram diffuser(112) positioned on the second substrate, a liquid crystal layer(150) interposed between the cholesteric liquid color filters and the array element, and a condensing backlight(160) positioned below the first substrate.
