WASTEWATER TREATMENT APPARATUS USING ELECTROFLOTATION REACTOR

PURPOSE: A wastewater treatment apparatus using electroflotation reactor is provided, which is characterized in that electrolytes such as caustic soda, inorganic coagulant are dosed in wastewater to control electroconductivity before wastewater is introduced into electroflotation reactor. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus comprises a downstream electroflotation reactor(6); a wastewater supply pipe(1) which is installed at the upper part of the electroflotation reactor; a drain pipe(4) which is installed at the lower part of electroflotation pipe; a stirrer(2) which improves flotation efficiency; a scum collection part(8); outlet ports(7) which are installed at both sides of the electroflotation reactor; a baffle(9) which is installed in front of the drain pipe to prevent overflow of scum into the drain pipe; an electrode panel support(10) which can help easy handling of electrode panel.
