PURPOSE: An automatic microphone is provided to output a uniform audio signal by controlling automatically the volume and the tone of the audio signal according to an interval between a user and a microphone. CONSTITUTION: A microphone(100) is used for receiving voice. A distance detection sensor(200) is installed at the microphone in order to sense an interval between a human body and the microphone. A control unit(300) includes an amplifier(310) for amplifying an audio signal, a memory(320) for storing volume control information and tone control information according to the intensity of the audio signal, a volume controller(330) for correcting the volume of the amplified audio signal by using the volume control information, an equalization controller(340) for controlling tone according to frequency bands by using the tone control information, and an output driver(350) for controlling and outputting the tone-controlled audio signal. A key control panel(400) controls the volume of the output driver.
