PURPOSE: Provided are a method for manufacturing a masking sheet for sand etching to manufacture a masking sheet that does not require the removal of a base material in the region not hardened by ultraviolet rays and has flexibility, and a masking sheet manufactured thereby. CONSTITUTION: The method for manufacturing a masking sheet comprises the steps of: sequentially mounting a copy sheet with an etching design, a backing sheet of transparent material and a nonwoven fabric on a fluoroscopic screen of an exposure device(S10); forming a photosensitive resin layer on the backing sheet so as to bury the mounted nonwoven fabric(S20); irradiating ultraviolet rays toward the formed photosensitive resin layer by operating the exposure device(S50); separating the ultraviolet ray-irradiated photosensitive resin and rinsing the same(S60); and drying the rinsed photosensitive resin layer(S70).
