PURPOSE: A tray movement device of a microwave oven is provided to enable rotary motion and rectilinear motion of a tray and to communize components for rotary motion and rectilinear motion of the tray. CONSTITUTION: A tray movement device of a microwave oven comprises a tray(100) on which food cooked in a cooking chamber is put; a driving motor(M) producing rotational power; a power transmission mechanism having a rotary motion transmission unit making the tray rotate by the rotational power produced from the driving motor, and a rectilinear motion conversion unit converting the rotational power produced from the driving motor into the rectilinear motion of the tray; and a tray support unit supporting the rotary motion and rectilinear motion of the tray. The rotary motion transmission unit comprises mounting protrusions(102) downward protruded on the bottom of the tray; a rotation member(110) having protrusion-seating grooves(112) in which the mounting protrusions are inserted, and a rotating shaft(114) receiving the rotational power supplied from the driving motor; and an output shaft(Ms) of the driving motor protruded on a side of the driving motor and combined to the rotating shaft, to transmit the rotary motion of the driving motor to the rotation member.
