COSMETIC COMPOSITION COMPRISING RASPBERRY KETONE AS ACTIVE INGREDIENT TO WHITEN SKIN BY INHIBITING TYROSINASE ACTIVITY

PURPOSE: Provided is a cosmetic composition comprising Raspberry Ketone as an active ingredient. The composition inhibits tyrosinase activity excellently and thus has excellent skin-whitening effects. CONSTITUTION: The composition for inhibiting tyrosinase activity and whitening the skin is characterized by containing 0.0001-10.0 wt.%, preferably 0.01-3.0 wt.% of Raspberry Ketone of the formula(1) as an active ingredient, based on the total weight of the composition. The composition effectively inhibits melanogenesis by inhibiting tyrosinase activity and is thus useful for improving freckles and whitening the skin.
