<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating cooker of which a temperature protection mechanism of a display means prevents the display means from heat conduction of more than a heat-resistant temperature. <P>SOLUTION: A heating cooker is composed of a top plate 2, a tray for a workpiece, a heating means 37, a display means 40 showing, by a luminous element, information like heating output or the like of the heating means, an operation panel 39, a controller 42 and a temperature detecting means 41 detecting temperature of the display means 40 or its neighborhood.
