PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the period until all image data is stored in a frame memory, in a drawing device for storing an image in the frame memory via a cache memory. SOLUTION: When the drawing device divides the frame memory in the pixel unit where data is burst-transferred from the cache memory to the frame memory in storing, in the cache memory, partial data of the image data to be stored in the frame memory, pixel data in at least one segment is stored in the cache memory so that only one access from the cache memory to the frame memory is required for the one segment.
