PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery connector capable of preventing the careless opening caused by hanging up of a cover for housing an electric wire with a terminal for voltage detection to the outside, and easily and efficiently connecting an electrode of a terminal battery to a terminal with electric wire for an outside power source even when the position of the electrode of the battery is low for example, namely the battery connector having high fitting capability. SOLUTION: The battery connector 1 includes a bus bar housing part 4 for housing a bus bar to be connected to the electrode 7 of the battery 6, an electric wire insertion groove 27 housing an electric wire 45 with terminal to be connected to the electrode, and a cover 35 covering the electric wire insertion groove, a flexible lever 58 is installed in the cover 35, and the flexible lever is fixed to wall parts 34, 78 of the electric wire insertion groove with a fixing material together with the electric wire 45 with terminal in the electric wire insertion groove. The flexible lever 58 is connected to the cover 35 through a hinge part 59. A connecting part 11 in the perpendicularly crossing direction to the electrode 7 is installed in a terminal bus bar 8 inside a terminal bus bar housing part 12, and a terminal 53 for a power source is connected to a connection part from the perpendicularly crossing direction to the electrode.
