PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lever switch allowing reduction of its height, and surely operable, in relation to a lever switch mainly used for detection of presence of a recording medium and operation of a mechanism in various kinds of electronic apparatuses. SOLUTION: The fulcrum part 14A of a lever 14 is arranged at a right upper end of a case 11 facing to a common contact 12 and a fixed contact 13, an arm part 15C in an intermediate part of a moving contact 15 is provided with a plurality of bent parts 15D and 15E bent in a direction opposite thereto to form the moving contact 15 into a nearly inverted N-shaped form, thereby reducing the whole height without reducing elastic contact force of a contact part 15F to the fixed contact 13 and force for energizing the lever 14 upward, whereby this lever switch ensured in electrical connection/disconnection and operation, and allowing reduction of size and thickness thereof can be provided.
