PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing structure that allows inspection of the original airtightness of a sealing member when a leak inspection is performed for inspection of airtightness, and an electrical component with a connector having the sealing structure. SOLUTION: A rib 22 extending toward the sealing member 3 is provided on a flange surface 21 of a connector body 14, and there is also provided a rib 24 extending toward the sealing member 3 on a bottom surface 23 of a recessed part 2c of a case member 2. Because this structure prevents the flange surface 21 of the connector body 14 and one of the side surfaces of the sealing member 3, or the bottom surface 23 of the case member 2 and the other of the side surfaces of the sealing member 3 from coming in tight contact with each other, thereby having a function of airtight sealing, it is possible to detect a sealing failure with reliability when a leak inspection is performed.
