PURPOSE: To make the function of a brake more effective by providing a rocking member for a device controlling an interval between the arms of two levers. CONSTITUTION: A pair of levers 3 and 23 having brake shoe holding arms 6 and 26 are installed. The first lever 3 is hung so that it moves around a pivot pin 10 fixed to the frame of a bicycle so that it freely turns, and a connection element 30 is fixed. A second pivot pin 28 parallel to the pivot pin 10 is carried and the second lever 23 is hung 23. The arms 6 and 26 of the two levers 3 and 23 are kept in a state where they are mutually detached by spring deflection equipment 50 and a device controlling the interval between the arms 6 and 26 is arranged. The control device has equipment driven by the two levers and the equipment contains a rocking member 34 hung to move around the second pivot pin 28 so that it rocks. |
