PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a three-phase rotary electric machine that uses interphase insulating paper with improved interphase insulation properties while reducing costs. SOLUTION: The interphase insulating paper 30 has first/second slot insertion parts 34A, 34B, which are respectively inserted into each slot of a stator while being parallel to each other, and first/second coil end insulating parts 32A, 32B that are respectively integrally formed at each end part of both the first/second slot insertion parts. The interphase insulating paper 30 also has cut parts 36A, 36B, 36C, and 36D and a protruding part 38.
