PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data presentation apparatus wherein an illumination lamp chamber in use is formed in an optimum form in the case that one illumination lamp support and the illumination lamp chamber are employed. SOLUTION: In the data presentation apparatus 1, when the illumination lamp chamber 66 and an imaging camera 3 are rotated to a setup position, since the illumination lamp chamber 66 is located to a rear side in the front view of an apparatus body 2 and takes a position lower than the imaging camera 3 with respect to the imaging camera 3 located nearly immediately above a data placing face 11, the illumination lamp chamber 66 does not interfere with a user's view to data on the data placing face 11. Further, since the near side of an illumination window 67 takes a position higher than the rear side in the front view of the apparatus body 2, the light of the illumination lamp is directed in the middle of the data placing face 11 and a viewer feels no glare because no light from the illumination window 67 enters the eyes of the viewer. Thus, when the single illumination lamp support 6 and the single illumination lamp chamber 66 are employed, the data presentation apparatus can be provided wherein the illumination lamp chamber 66 in use takes an optimum form.
