PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission method of an overhead message which shortens time transmitted to an idle state of a mobile station and access hand- off time by changing a period to transmit an OHM in compliance with a state of traffic of a PCH. SOLUTION: A PCH Slot generating part 222 starts generation of a PCH slot by a signal supplied from a timer control part 210 and sets sequentially the OHM extracted from a PCH transmitting data buffer 221 on the basis of an OHM number counter into the PCH slot. When an opening exists in the PCH slot setting the OHM at this time, furthermore, the OHM sent next is set into the slot. The generated PCH slot is supplied and transmitted to a TX part 240 through a transmitting frame control part 230. |
