PURPOSE:To increase the number of products per lead frame and to improve handling property. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of devices are aligned in the direction of the width of a lead frame. Thus, the number of products of the devices is increased. Cradles 21-24 are provided on both sides. When a lead frame 10 on the light transmitting side and a lead frame 12 on the light receiving side are assembled, sinking combs 27 of the cradles 21 and 22 on the side are coupled with coupling grooves 28 of the other cradles 23 and 24. A resin-leak stopping piece 39 is provided in parallel with a lead terminal 13 between the lead terminal 13 at the most remote end part and the sinking combs 27.
