PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device capable of reducing the amount of charges which streams into an external input voltage from a boosting circuit when a power source is turned off. SOLUTION: The display device is provided with a display panel and a driving circuit which drives respective pixels on the display panel, wherein the driving circuit has a power source circuit to which the voltage of VCC is inputted. Further, the power circuit comprises: a first boosting circuit which produces the voltage of DDVDH of a voltage higher than the voltage of VCC; a means 1 which connects an output terminal of the voltage of DDVDH of the first boosting circuit to a reference voltage via a resistive element during a first period when the first boosting circuit is turned off; and a means 2 which connects the output terminal of the voltage of DDVDH of the first boosting circuit to a terminal to which the voltage of VCC is inputted during a second period succeeding to the first period.
