PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-speed imaging/inspecting facility and a method of a moving target which implement high-speed inspection of the target moving within a fixed speed range, and significantly reduce the inspection time. SOLUTION: The high-speed imaging/inspecting facility of the moving target is provided with a path for passing the moving target; a scanning/imaging apparatus for emitting a radiation beam to the moving target passing through the path so as to image and inspect the moving target; a first detection unit for determining whether the moving target enters into the path and counting the number of times, when the moving target enters into the path; and a second detection unit for measuring a moving speed of the moving target within the path. The high-speed imaging/inspecting facility controls the second detection unit, based on a detection signal received from the first detection unit and indicating the moving object entering into the path so as to detect the moving speed of the moving target, controls the scanning/imaging apparatus, based on a measured result from the second detection unit so as to emit the radiation beam, at a frequency corresponding to the speed of the moving object, and inspects the moving target.
