PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure the concentration of calcium at high sensitivity, even for a sample liquid containing calcium of high concentration. SOLUTION: The emission intensity of the light emitted when the sample liquid and a light-emitting agent comprising a chelating agent and calcium-receiving light-emitting protein are mixed.
