PURPOSE:To prevent erroneous measurement of the reception level due to jump transmission from another radio zone using the same channel by transmitting a discrimination code on the outside of the audio band of the used channel to every repeat zone. CONSTITUTION:A mobile station 6A transmits a discrimination code (a) of the repeat zone, to which a base station 4 which the station 6A communicates with belongs, on the outside of the audio band of a transmission channel f1. A mobile station 6B uses the same channel f1 as a base station 4 of a radio zone B belonging to another repeat zone for transmission. However, the discrimination code of this repeat zone is not (a) but (b). When the base station 4 measures the reception level of the channel f1, the station 4 receives the discrimination code transmitted on the outside of the audio band also and reports not only the value of the reception level but also the discrimination code to a control station 5. The control station 5 compares values of the reception level of the channel f1 reported from individual base stations 4 to decide the position of the mobile station 6A, and a correct radio zone is decided by the discrimination code added to the reception level. |
