PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rectangular excavator which carries out the correction of rolling in parallel with excavation work unlike a conventional excavator that carries out the correction of rolling after excavation in the excavator or in a rear box body. SOLUTION: A circular driving section 13 which axially supports a plurality of cutters 12 and rotates and revolves the cutters is separated from a shell 11 and axially supported at a revolving location of the cutters 12. Then rolling correcting ram jacks 16 expandable and contractible inward are arranged at right and left locations inside the shell 11, and an expansion rod 16a of each of the right and left rolling correcting ram jacks 16 is abutted on a projection 13g of the driving section 13, the right and left rolling correcting ram jacks 16 is relatively expanded and contracted, to thereby allow the driving section 13 to rotate in a circular direction with respect to the shell 11.
