PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foundation pile welding method which enables the relatively simple performance of a foundation pile welding operation, and a foundation pile holder for the foundation pile welding operation for use in the foundation pile welding method. SOLUTION: After a hole H is bored in the ground G by means of an earth auger 1, a lower pile 61 is inserted into the hole H, and supported by the foundation pile holder 30 which is attached to a guide leader 9. The foundation pile holder 30 is provided with a horizontally-rotary frame 33 which is equipped with a foundation-pile chuck device 40. The lower pile 61 and an upper pile 62 superposed on the lower pile are concurrently rotated. The upper end of the lower pile 61 and the lower end of the upper pile 62 are welded to each other by means of a welding torch 52 which is installed in a fixed position. The foundation-pile chuck device 40 is equipped with a fixed jaw 41 which is supported by the horizontally-rotary frame 33, and a movable jaw 42 for changing a distance from the fixed jaw 41 by the hydraulic cylinder 43.
