PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluorine-containing polyether compound which can be cured without needing a Si-H bond-having fluorine-containing organo hydrogen siloxane compound, and gives cured products excellent heat resistance, chemical resistance, and molding processability and having improved low temperature characteristics, to provide a method for containing the same, and to provide a curable composition containing the same. SOLUTION: This method for producing a fluorine-containing polyether compound of the formula comprises reacting FOCCF<SB>2</SB>O(CF<SB>2</SB>CF<SB>2</SB>O)<SB>p</SB>(CF<SB>2</SB>O)<SB>q</SB>CF<SB>2</SB>COF with XC<SB>6</SB>H<SB>4</SB>NHR<SP>1</SP>. The compound forms a curable fluorine-containing polyether composition together with an aromatic borate, an organic palladium compound and a basic inorganic or organic compound (and an organic phosphorus compound).
