PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a collision detector for a vehicle which accurately detects a collision of a pedestrian or the like via a chamber member for pressure detection even when collisions simultaneously occur at a plurality of points in a vehicle bumper. SOLUTION: A chamber member 7 is arranged on the front face 4a of a bumper reinforcement 4 inside a vehicle bumper 2 while having a chamber space 7a formed in its inside. The chamber member is provided with a deforming part 7b and a non-deforming part 7c that are respectively provided in the vehicle width direction. The deforming part is compression-deformed between a collided object and the bumper reinforcement 4 when a collision against the vehicle bumper 2 occurs. The non-deforming part is not compression-deformed between a collided object and the bumper reinforcement 4 while integrally forming the chamber space 7a together with the deforming part 7b. Therefore, even when the deforming part 7b is compression-deformed owing to a collision of a pedestrian or the like against the vehicle bumper 2 and a part of the deforming part is completely crushed, the non-deforming part 7c is not compression-deformed.
