PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process for continuously producing a polycarbonate resin with less coloring by an interface method. SOLUTION: The process for producing the polycarbonate resin includes: a reaction step of interfacial polycondensation of an aqueous alkaline solution of a dihydroxy compound supplied continuously and carbonyl chloride in the presence of methylene chloride containing a stabilizer; and a reaction solvent collection step of collecting the methylene chloride used in the reaction step, followed by purifying the collected methylene chloride and circulating it to the reaction step, wherein the concentration of the stabilizer in the methylene chloride used in the reaction step is controlled in a range of 1-20 weight ppm.
