PURPOSE: To make the distance of the ink-free section between the printing compsns. of a printing plate smaller than that of the ink-free section of an ink doctor by providing a form roller between an ink distributing roller and a plate cylinder to deliver ink to the printing plate of the plate cylinder. CONSTITUTION: Different inks can be applied to two printing plates 31, 32 each having cylinder width 1/4 the max. printing width and one printing plate 33 having cylinder width 1/2 the max. printing width by form rollers 18, 19 together moved in an axial direction G by an ink distributing roller 17. The max. printing width means that the ink-free section between printing plates, that is, a distance with width (d) is smaller than the ink-free section of an ink doctor 2, that is, a distance with width (a) and, as a result, the mutual mixing of inks by the second ink distributing roller 17 is not generated. |
